Yes. You can upgrade to Pro at any time and your billing will be prorated. Downgrading takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Your data is never deleted. If you exceed the Free tier limits, you'll still have read access to all documents but won't be able to upload new ones until you're within limits again.
Absolutely. There is no compromise on security. Free and Pro use the exact same encryption — AES-256-GCM, Argon2id, X25519. Privacy is not a premium feature.
